The forthcoming divorce of celebrity couple Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom has been in the media spotlight recently, with many reports focusing on the contents of the couple’s prenuptial agreement.
The couple signed up a prenup when they got married in 2009. This agreement apparently sets out that Khloe is entitled to keep their $4 million California mansion and her engagement ring, valued at around $1 million, as well as all other gifts and jewellery she received from her husband during their marriage, reports Hollywoodlife.com.
In addition, she reportedly can claim $500,000 for each year of the marriage, and may be entitled to claim spousal support as well. Lamar apparently waived any rights to claim financial support from his wife.
Both partners are considerably wealthy in their own rights. Khloe is thought to be worth around $18 million, while Lamar, who is a professional basketball player, reportedly has a fortune worth around $100 million.
